Arrival Jomo Kenyatta Airport met and assisted by Our Customer Representative upon clearing with visa formalities, escorted to your waiting safari vehicle where you will be transferred to your City Hotel for overnight. Dinner on own arrangement

After breakfast, drive north via Nanyuki with a stopover at Mt. Kenya for lunch. Proceed on to Shaba Game Reserve. Rugged and remote, this wildlife reserve provides some of the best and most colourful game viewing in the country.

Shaba is the area where Joy Adamson did much of her work with wildlife and it’s a dry, rocky, wildly beautiful place. Built in an oasis around the natural terrain of this breathtaking volcanic desert, the Lodge is attractively laid out with 85 modern chalet style rooms with a private view of the wildlife-rich banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River. Natural spring water has been harnessed to ribbon its way in and out all around the property creating a beautiful landscape. Coupled with the large free-form swimming pool that flows around the lush gardens and tall trees, all this refreshing water lends an almost magical feel to this natural oasis.

On your game drives you are likely to see a whole range of East African wildlife. Animals of special interest in Samburu, and rarely found elsewhere, are Gravy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk and the Beisa oryx. The birdlife is especially notable. During the heat of the day you may well be happy to lounge around the attractive pool but after sunset you will feel renewed and a sundowner or two while watching the traditional dances of the Samburu warriors is a wonderful way to end the daylight hours.

Depart after breakfast for Lake Nakuru National Park with a short stop at Thomson’s falls to admire the scenic beauty. Arrive at the Lodge in time for lunch.      

Proceed on your afternoon game drive.  Lake Nakuru is one of the alkaline Rift Valley lakes and a fantastic bird sanctuary, its shores populated at times by more than one million flamingos.

Depart and drive to the Masai Mara Game Reserve, Kenya’s finest and best known game reserve, arriving for lunch at your Camp.

Sarova Mara Tented Camp has 75 tents and is located in the world-renowned Masai Mara; home to the greatest game show on earth – the Wildebeest Migration

Afternoon game viewing drive in this Kenyan finest Park, here in Mara you are likely to spot the animals in their natural element; a lion's roar, a cheetah making a kill, and the big elephant herds are all very fascinating events.

Optional Hot air balloon ride and mid -day visit to the Local Village

The BALLOON SAFARI adventure begins in the pre-dawn hours. The magnificent view of the park is thrilling. Towards the end of the safari, you rise to a height of 1500 feet for a panoramic view of the twisting Mara River and the savannah below. After an hour or so in the air, your safari finishes with a flourish: a champagne breakfast in the bush, cooked on the balloon’s burners.

Two more nights in Mara with morning and afternoon game drives in the rolling hills, woodlands and Rivers, provided with option of full day game drive departing your camp after breakfast with picnic lunches.
